Commitment

Accessibility

Hexagon Hive works with schools and public institutions, and this site is built to be usable by everyone evaluating our programs.

Our standard

This website targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That standard guides our color contrast, typography, focus visibility, keyboard operation, and semantic structure.

What we build for

Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. Pages use headings in a logical order, meaningful link text, and text alternatives for images that carry information.

Motion is kept restrained and respects the operating system's reduced-motion preference.

Program materials

Accessibility applies beyond the website. We work with partner institutions on accommodations for participating students and on accessible formats for program documents on request.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time audit. As pages and features are added, they are reviewed against the same standard, and third-party embeds — such as scheduling or form tools — are evaluated before they are added.

Feedback

If you encounter a barrier on this site or need program information in another format, tell us through the contact page and we will respond and correct it.
